Software we built, run, and use ourselves

Every product on this page came out of our own shop.

We got tired of recommending tools that almost fit, so we started building the ones that do. Each of these solves a problem we hit ourselves, running a small business in the Coachella Valley. They run on our servers and we use them every week.

Put AI to work this week

Ready to use right now. No install, no integration project, no consultant required.

fakeserver

fakeserver.net

Pre-built AI helpers that do real work. Hire The Writer to draft your blog posts and emails, The Researcher to size up a competitor, The Summarizer to turn a meeting transcript into decisions and owners. Eighteen of them, already set up and waiting. Chain a few together and a week of marketing gets done while you’re out on a job site.

  • Results land in your inbox, on your phone, or straight into your tools
  • Connect your own Gmail or Outlook so it sends as you, not as a robot
  • Workflows chain several helpers into one job you run with a button
  • Team plans share one pool of work across five seats
  • Developer API if you’d rather wire it into something yourself

Best if you’re doing work an assistant could do, and you don’t have an assistant.

Where we find out what actually works

Not a product. Research we run in the open, because the fastest way to learn what AI can and cannot do is to point it at something real and keep score. On afakeserver.com, three AI models run their own trading strategies against live market data on identical rules and identical starting balances, with a purely mechanical strategy as a control. Some of them lose. That is the point of publishing it, and most of what we know about AI reliability, guardrails, and cost came out of experiments like this one.

Research project. Not investment advice.

Still very much a thing

Rather have someone set it up for you?

The products above cover most of what a small business needs. When they don’t, or when you’d rather not be the one clicking the buttons, we do the hands-on work too. Same shop, same people, same plain language.

Setup and integration

Getting the tools above wired into how you already work.

Team training

Hands-on sessions so your people use AI confidently and safely.

Custom builds

When the thing you need doesn’t exist yet, we build it. Everything on this page started that way.

Elsewhere

Other things we run

Different audiences, different problems, same shop.
